  • Tap to click

    Tap the left side for single, double and triple clicks. Open files, select text and navigate as you do now, without pressing the button.

  • Right-click

    Tap the right side for a right-click. macOS treats it as a physical one, so context menus open as usual in Finder and every app.

  • Middle-click

    Tap with three fingers for a scroll-wheel click to open links in new tabs, close tabs or pan in creative apps. You can also assign it a system action, a keyboard shortcut, an app or a website.

  • Drag and drop

    Double-tap and keep your finger down after the second tap, then slide the mouse to move windows, files and other items.

  • Gaming mode

    The Magic Mouse has a single button, so in games you can't aim and fire at once. Hold down a right-click to aim down sights while you tap the left side to fire.

Does TapToClick work with Magic Mouse 2?
Yes, it works with all Apple Magic Mouse models, including Magic Mouse 2 and the USB-C model.
Which macOS versions are supported?
TapToClick works on macOS 12 (Monterey) through macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Newer versions and betas may work too, but haven't been officially tested.
Is TapToClick a subscription or a one-time purchase?
It's a one-time purchase: you pay once and own it forever. Every update within the current major version is included, and your version keeps working after a new major version comes out. No subscriptions and no renewals.
Can I use one license on multiple Macs?
Yes. Essentials covers up to 2 Macs and Pro up to 4.
Where do I find my license key?
It's emailed to you right after checkout, so check your inbox and spam folder. You can also sign in to your account at any time to see your license keys. If you can't access either, contact support from the email address you used at checkout and we'll resend it.
