Tap-to-Click for Apple Magic Mouse

Here's what the app does and how it works.

• Tap to click

  Perform single, double, and triple clicks with a light touch to the left side of the mouse. You can open files, select text, and navigate exactly as you do now, just without the physical press, sound, or resistance.

• Right-click zone

  Tap the right side of the Magic Mouse surface to trigger a right-click — no physical button press required. A brief, deliberate touch is all it takes, giving you the full context-menu experience without any mechanical effort.

• Middle-click

  Place three fingers on the surface at once to simulate a scroll wheel click. Useful for opening links in a new tab, closing tabs, or activating pan and rotate tools in creative apps.

• Drag and drop

  Move windows, files, and other items without holding down a physical button. Double-tap and hold on the second tap, then slide the mouse to drag.

• Gaming mode

  Combine a physical right-click with a left-side tap in games. This lets you hold right-click to aim down sights while tapping the left side to fire.

• Minimalism

  Less is more. There are no subscriptions, no bloat, no telemetry – just the features you actually use.

• Palm rejection

  Resting your hand on the mouse won't trigger accidental clicks. TapToClick distinguishes between a deliberate tap and a finger simply making contact.
